The IPOD Lover

When I first got my IPOD, I couldn't believe that I got it for Free. It was given to me as I won first in a Dance With an Ipod Competition in Singapore. Eversince then, the 4G 40Gigabyte Apple Ipod has been my date. I'm such a big fan of her. But I haven't named it yet. Can you help me by giving some suggestions?

Hi, My name is Sir Vanity Fairest. It is not my real name but I'm very fond of it. I have another name, actually a few other names but I prefer a shorter one. My parents gave a pretty long name which has to include my dad's name and I don't really like that idea. I want something shorter, something people could remember easily. So over the 21 years that I've lived, the name went through a lot of reconstruction. Still, I'm not sure if I truly like this name but i feel pretty comfortable in it.

Now, I need another name. Not for myself but for my beloved Ipod. I didn't thought I'd fall so in love with this awesome gadget which brings me much joy everywhere I go with it. Keeing me company with "too" many hits at one go, I am never so entertained with every step that I take wherever I go with every second that passes by. So this Ipod needs a name. I need some suggestions though. So if your could comment, I'll be more than happy. So I hope to hear from you.

Oh "big laughter"...i forgot to tell you my name. Hi, I'm Ewan and you are? :)

My Latest Discovery 15 November 2004

I always wanted to upgrade the technology available. I bet all other owners know that the new 4G Ipod has new chips installed so I was thrilled to experiment to see what I can do with mine. Browsing through the internet, I came upon some websites which provided more than a handful of priceless informations and downloads that can improve the usage of the IPOD. I strongly recommend www.ipodlounge.com whch is very updated and taught me quite a lot of stuff.

The latest of all discoveries is that I found a site which enable to upload these games onto my IPOD. Through the IPOD AGENT which i download, transfer of music and notes, in and out had been so easy. So please go download IPOD AGENT! Anyway, before i digress more towards recommending the heaps of Ipod sites available online, I have yet to speak of the highlights.

I now have, ah hemm...Who Want To Be A Millionaire on my IPOD. You see It's not just words but it has music accompaniment and it is amazing though i hope it could be more interactive. Meanwhile as i'll try to go through the game and read the newly uploaded novels, I hope you would go online to find out more and update yourself and your IPOD with new stuff.

unfortunately, Damn...IPOD Photo...how tempting!

ADVENTURES OF SIR IPOD_LOVER!
21st November 2004

I've been meddling around with the features of IPOD once again and i soon got pretty bored actually. But being bored doesn't mean I'll leave my ipod stranded in the miseries of my room. It will still come along with me wherever I will go and be my companion whenever possible. Probably this period of time where I've been pretty much resting and haven't been dancing, the Ipod will not be fully uitilised as yet! With my up and coming schedule which I deem hectic and exciting, the Ipod will be very useful in time as I would need portable music during rehearsals and performances. How glad I have been, and relieved to know that the burden of burning multiple copy of music cds and scratching them useless are off my shoulders.

As time passes by, with technology advancing at the speed of light, People like me start to become lazier and only hope for more advances that could ease our lives. In the context of being a proud owner of an Ipod, I wished there were more things that i could upload from the internet that could be useful and possible brighten the usage of the Ipod. The ipod I now realised have so many other accessories that aims to enhance the use of an Ipod. From the voice recorder and the FM Tuner to the new BOSE, made-for-the-ipod Speakers, I wished I had it all. Well one day, I bet I will as I save my daily allowances, thrifty and patient. Nonetheless, the websites by ardent fans seems to provide much invaluable advice and tips and tricks thus i remain thrilled.

Unfortunately, technology advances also affects the niche of business and marketing. Latent wars between over-achieving brands compete with the latest that they can provide. In particular, Mp3 players, being the wonder of music technology in our 21st Century have had it's share of their which-mp3-player-is-the-best hoohah. As a loyal supporter of Apple eversince I owned this piece of technological wonder, I glee at the thoughts that the Apple Ipod have yet to be knocked off the top positions of being the Iconic Mp3 player of the century. Be it the Ipod Mini or Ipod Photo, anything in the Ipod family retains a special corner in my heart and interests.

Couldn't have been more excited than any other Ipod owner as I looked through the millions of Ipod reviews in magazines and the newspapers. Ipod prevails watsvoever and no matter which other player would love to compare their new ingenius gadget with the Ipod, I'll bet a million, they're off!

The latest hype that I was inevitably intrigued by is the new Creative Micro which aims to beat the IPOD Mini off the shelves. I will not bother to list down the downside of Creative's new gadget and with all due respect, with Creative being a Singaporean company, I beg not to be critical. But the most recent of my reads in the morning papers speaks of an Over-Confident CEO who believes strongly that the Creative Micro Player will beat the Ipod mini hands down. unfortunately, he has to be realistic. Although Micro may have a Gb more of space or 10 assortments of colours, I see it fresh but not glam. Not glam in the eyes of new technological gadget designs. It loses quite badly and their aim to have more colours is only a self-destructible concept. The appeal isn't really there after all and although it may work as well but the package isn't very complete.

Phew I shouldn't speak more and I know it'll too much of an essay if I rattle on.
For Ipod is my love, I am the Ipod Lover so I'm sorry if i'm biased.

Smiles On
